Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Business Management Associate for its Animal Nutrition & Health function within the Manufacturing industry. This is a structured 12–18 month training program that develops functional expertise across Strategic Pricing, Supply Chain, Feed Formulation, Commodity Merchandising, Strategic Marketing & Technology, and Data & Business Analytics. Candidates will be considered for placement in Kansas, MO.


What You’ll Do

  • Participate in an intensive 12–18 month rotational training program across core business functions.
  • Learn and apply strategic and tactical concepts in pricing, supply chain, feed formulation, merchandising, sourcing, analytics, and business finance.
  • Complete cross-trainings to build broad functional knowledge and professional skills.
  • Support operational and commercial activities that impact customers, plant operations, and business financials.
  • Work collaboratively on problem-solving projects and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Travel as needed (approximately 10% or less).

Responsibilities

  • Develop capabilities in Strategic Pricing and Commodity Merchandising.
  • Support Supply Chain Strategy & Execution initiatives.
  • Assist with Feed Formulation tasks and data-driven decision making.
  • Contribute to Data & Business Analytics projects that inform business performance.
  • Support Business Financials and reporting activities.
  • Engage with employees and customers to support culture and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or sponsorship by a third-party employer.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, operations, business, sales, finance, agribusiness, agricultural economics, business analytics, animal science, or a related field.
  • Expected graduation between December 2026 and August 2027.
  • Willing and able to relocate to Kansas, MO (and work onsite as required).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to see the big picture and dive into detail.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to solve complex problems through collaboration, creativity, and determination.
  • Comfortable taking calculated risks and executing decisions.
  • Able to contribute both individually and as part of a team; able to work with diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Expected salary: $74,000 (this amount has not been adjusted for any geographic differential).

Location & Work Arrangement

  • Primary location for this posting: Kansas, MO.
  • Majority of the work week will be in office with flexibility for hybrid arrangements as appropriate.
