What You’ll Do

The Business Intelligence Developer Associate will support the design, build, and maintenance of enterprise BI solutions that provide actionable insights to business users. This is an entry-level, remote role working under the guidance of senior developers and architects to create reports, dashboards, and data models using established standards and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and BI components from defined requirements
• Assist with BI solution design tasks, documentation, testing, and data preparation under senior guidance
• Monitor production channels, triage incoming issues/requests, assist with resolution, and escalate when needed
• Learn and apply BI best practices (data modeling, visualization standards, performance tuning)
• Contribute to data validation and ETL/data-prep tasks as assigned
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Information Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field — or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience; HS diploma or GED required
• Eligible to work in the United States without the need for visa or residency sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, MySQL)
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Cognos, or SAS
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling (relational and dimensional)
• Exposure to Agile workflows and tools (e.g., JIRA) and version control systems (GitHub, SVN)
• Internship or coursework in BI, data analysis, or reporting; healthcare/PBM experience is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills; willingness to learn quickly

Compensation & Work Location

• Pay range: $28.37 - $45.19 per hour (hourly, based on experience and skills)
• Employment type: Contract, Full-time
• Work location: Remote (Telecommute) — must be located in the United States and eligible to work without sponsorship
