Overview
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Business Immigration Analyst to join a business immigration team on a long-term contract basis. This position provides substantive legal work supporting business immigration matters, including preparing immigration applications, drafting support letters and case correspondence, managing case documentation, and communicating with corporate clients and foreign nationals. The role is based in SoMa, CA and requires onsite attendance Monday–Friday.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze case documents and assist in preparing immigration applications and petitions for filing with government agencies
- Draft and revise specialized support letters and legal documents describing eligibility for visa classifications and other immigration benefits
- Proofread and synthesize complex information into clear, concise narratives
- Draft professional correspondence with clients (emails, letters)
- Interface with corporate representatives and foreign nationals to collect case-related information and documentation
- Compile and summarize case data, status updates, and reports
- Collect, organize, and maintain confidential client files and supporting documentation
- Manage a high volume of matters and competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Participate in training workshops, legal practice meetings, and updates on immigration case strategy and developments
- Assist with additional legal projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with professional office experience, OR Paralegal certification, OR 1–2+ years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including drafting and proofreading
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a high-volume workload
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with case or data management systems is a plus
- Positive, client-service mindset and interest in immigration law; PERM/business immigration experience preferred but not required
- Authorization to work in the United States required
Schedule & Location
This full-time position is onsite in SoMa, CA (San Francisco). Candidates must be available to work Monday–Friday in the firm’s San Francisco office. Remote work is not available.
Compensation
Estimated pay: $86,488 per year (estimated). Benefits and additional compensation details will be provided by the Confidential Client and may be available to contract/temporary professionals.
