What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their sales team. This role focuses on prospecting and early-stage qualification to drive demo bookings and pipeline growth. You will receive formal training (product, process, industry, and sales) and work closely with Account Executives, Account Managers, and Sales Leadership as part of your ramp.
- Conduct ~60 outbound calls per day to leads, applicants, and existing accounts
- Drive customer interest and book product demos
- Record all activity, notes, and next steps in Salesforce (or equivalent CRM)
- Build working knowledge of how to position and sell the client’s product (TLOxp)
- Partner with the Sales Manager to execute targeted campaigns and market outreach
- Hand off qualified opportunities to Account Executives with complete context
- Reconnect with uncontacted or minimally contacted leads
- Handle inbound calls and qualify/attempt to book demos for new prospects
- Disqualify leads that do not meet client requirements
- Use a consultative sales approach to identify prospect needs and propose solutions
- Complete internal training on relevant compliance (e.g., FCRA, DPPA, GLBA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
- 0–2 years of experience or relevant internship experience in inside sales or lead generation
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Demonstrated aptitude for sales/marketing techniques and customer relationship building
- Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls and working with performance targets
- Familiarity with CRMs (Salesforce preferred) and basic sales workflows
- Ability to pass background checks where required and comply with applicable local laws
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship

- Consultative selling and lead qualification experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable learning regulated-industry concepts (FCRA, DPPA, GLBA)

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $14.90 - $23.08 per hour (this role is eligible for base pay plus commission)
- Commission targets: generally 20%–50% of base pay (may vary by role/plan)
