What You’ll Do
This role focuses on driving growth for a Confidential Client that provides engineering and forensic consulting services. You will develop new accounts, expand relationships with existing clients, and act as a trusted advisor to referral partners across legal, insurance, construction, property management, and corporate sectors.
- Identify, develop, and close new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
- Build and maintain relationships with attorneys, insurance carriers, property managers, and other decision makers.
- Lead client meetings to understand needs and position technical consulting services as tailored solutions.
- Develop and execute territory and account growth plans aligned with business objectives.
- Meet or exceed business development goals and KPIs, including pipeline and revenue targets.
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact and trusted consultant for prospective and existing clients.
- Maintain regular communication to deepen relationships and uncover additional opportunities.
- Deliver exceptional client service via responsiveness, professionalism, and consistent follow‑through.
- Support retention and account expansion initiatives.
Marketing & Networking
- Represent the Confidential Client at industry conferences, association events, trade shows, and educational programs.
- Coordinate client appreciation and relationship-building activities.
- Work with marketing to support lead-generation campaigns, content, and brand awareness.
- Identify opportunities to increase market visibility and referral pipeline.
CRM & Business Analytics
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in the CRM.
- Track pipeline activity, sales forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Prepare reports and updates for leadership on market activity and opportunities.
- Analyze trends and recommend strategies for targeted growth.
Internal Collaboration
- Partner with engineers, project managers, and leadership to ensure seamless client delivery.
- Assist with proposal development, service presentations, and onboarding of new clients.
- Participate in strategic planning related to market expansion and new services.
- Promote knowledge sharing across technical and business teams.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of business development, sales, account management, or client-relationship experience.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with senior decision makers.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within an assigned territory.
Preferred
- Experience selling professional services, consulting, engineering, or technical solutions.
- Familiarity with legal, engineering, or forensic consulting industries.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Demonstrated success managing sales pipelines and achieving revenue growth targets.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $75,000–$95,000 base (commensurate with experience) plus sales commission and profit-sharing bonus plan.
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (typical hours listed by client).
- Work Setting: Hybrid (local/territory travel required).
