Role overview
Confidential Client is hiring a Contract Business Development Associate to join a frontline team focused on memory-based products and AI infrastructure markets. This is an onsite, 18-month contract based in Campbell, CA. The role supports market tracking, competitive analysis, opportunity evaluation, and executive-level reporting to help shape commercial strategy for memory (DRAM, NAND, HBM) in AI systems.
What You’ll Do
- Research and monitor global AI infrastructure and semiconductor market trends with emphasis on memory product demand.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities driven by AI hardware and evolving memory architectures.
- Perform competitive and technology landscape analysis, including startup activity and partner ecosystems.
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and data visualizations for senior leadership and C-level stakeholders.
- Gather, organize, and maintain industry intelligence, customer requirements, and market forecast databases.
- Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams to support ongoing business development initiatives and leadership meetings.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in STEM, Business, Economics, or related field.
- Clear understanding of memory products (DRAM, NAND, HBM) and semiconductor market dynamics.
- Foundational knowledge of AI infrastructure and how memory interacts with accelerators and servers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; able to synthesize data into actionable insights.
- Proactive, curious, and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in semiconductors, IT hardware, or tech consulting.
- Fluency in Korean (helpful for communication with global teams).
- Familiarity with the broader AI ecosystem and hardware-software co-optimization trends.
Logistics & Compensation
- Work model: Onsite — Campbell, CA.
- Contract duration: 18 months.
- Compensation: $70,000—$100,000 USD (range reflects multiple U.S. geographic markets; final offer may vary by location, skills, and experience).
- Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; successful candidates will be required to complete Form I-9.
