Overview

Confidential Client is hiring a Business Data Analyst to work with business and IT partners to turn data into actionable insights, dashboards, and reports that support operational and strategic decisions. This role is based in Jenks, OK (Tulsa area). Visa sponsorship is not available.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities and develop data-driven solutions that create long-term business value.
• Apply business acumen and analytical thinking to identify innovation and competitive advantage.
• Translate complex business challenges into scalable analytics, dashboards, and data solutions.
• Collaborate with delivery leads, data engineers, developers, architects, product owners, and other IT partners across the delivery lifecycle.
• Support solution design, validation, testing, deployment, change management, and continuous improvement.
• Present findings, recommendations, and visualizations that clearly connect analysis to business outcomes.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Professional or educational experience working with data and analytics.
• Experience presenting data, analysis, or recommendations (coursework, internships, projects, or professional).
• Comfortable working with Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data manipulation).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications (What Will Put You Ahead)

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other analytics tools.
• Experience using GenAI tools to improve productivity and workflows.
• Understanding of business operations and the ability to link analysis to business value.
• Exposure to project management, Agile concepts, or cross-functional project work.

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated compensation: $125,490 per year (estimated figure provided by source; actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, and location).
