What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Business Analytics Analyst to join its Government & Public Services practice. You will help transform data into actionable insights that improve mission outcomes and organizational performance for public-sector clients.

  • Support quantitative and qualitative analyses to produce data-driven recommendations
  • Prepare, clean, and manage datasets to enable reliable analysis and reporting
  • Build charts, dashboards, and executive-ready presentations that communicate findings clearly
  • Perform statistical analysis and basic modeling to identify trends and drivers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (strategy, operations, technology) to support transformation initiatives
  • Contribute to client deliverables and support workstream management tasks under senior staff guidance
  • Participate in client meetings and help translate technical results into business impact

Qualifications

Required:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university expected to graduate by Summer 2027, or completed bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, Analytics, Applied Math, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Technology, or equivalent program

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Reside within a commutable distance (e.g., ~100-mile radius) of the assigned office with ability to commute daily, if required

  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average, depending on client needs

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future

  • Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of deliverables

  • Comfortable managing and prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Professional interpersonal skills and ability to build/sustain relationships


Preferred Qualifications

  • GPA of 3.4 or higher
  • Internship, coursework, or project experience in analytics, data science, statistics, computer science, finance, or related fields
  • Familiarity with data tools (Excel, SQL, Python/R, Tableau/Power BI) — helpful but not always required for entry-level applicants

You’ll join a Government & Public Services practice that serves federal, state, local agencies, higher education, and nonprofit organizations. Teams work across strategy, operations, and technology to deliver measurable improvements. This role provides exposure to client engagements, mentorship from experienced consultants, and opportunities to develop a consulting career within public sector analytics.


Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $88,000 - $91,000 per year. Actual compensation will reflect factors such as experience, skills, licensure/certifications, and local geographic differentials.
