What You’ll Do
This entry-level Business Analyst (Analyst - Business) will support transformation initiatives within government and public-service engagements. You will work on project teams to analyze operations, recommend improvements, and help deliver measurable client value.
- Support project teams on organizational and operational change initiatives
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to surface insights
- Prepare clear, professional deliverables (reports, slide decks, dashboards)
- Assist with research, data collection, and documentation of findings
- Coordinate with team members and client stakeholders to track progress
- Help run workstreams and, when appropriate, lead smaller tasks or sub-projects
Key Responsibilities
- Use tools, methodologies, and accelerators to help teams meet strategic objectives
- Translate business needs into analyses, process maps, and recommendations
- Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in fast-paced engagements
- Communicate findings clearly—both written and verbal—to team members and clients
- Build and maintain professional relationships across client and internal teams
- Follow quality standards and attention-to-detail expectations on deliverables
The Team
The Government & Public Services practice serves government agencies, higher education institutions, nonprofits, and other public-sector organizations. Teams work across strategy, operations, technology, and transformation efforts to improve mission outcomes and organizational performance. You’ll be part of a collaborative, growth-oriented environment where analysts build consulting skills through hands-on client exposure.
Qualifications (Required)
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university and expected to graduate by Summer 2027, or have completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, Operations Management, Project Management, Psychology, Public Administration, or an equivalent program
- Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA
- Reside within a commutable distance (for example, a 100-mile radius) of the assigned office with ability to commute daily if required (role location: Wellston, MO)
- Ability to travel up to ~50% on average depending on client needs
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be at least 18 years of age at time of employment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail and quality
Preferred Qualifications
- 3.5 cumulative GPA preferred
- Internship, project, or coursework experience in business analysis, finance, operations, project management, psychology, human resources, economics, or public administration
- Demonstrated teamwork, time management, and problem-solving on real projects
Compensation & Schedule
- Full-time position
- Estimated base salary range (reported by client): $84,000 – $87,000 per year. The disclosed range is an estimate and may be adjusted for geographic differentials and candidate experience.
