Position overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Business Analyst to support Collections operations in Torrance, CA. This role will own day-to-day inbox and field-office support for Collections, document processes and requirements, run user-acceptance testing (UAT), and help drive continuous improvement projects across internal teams and vendors.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as first point of contact for Collections field-office inquiries; acknowledge requests quickly and provide timely updates and resolution support.
• Triage and manage a high-volume support inbox and prioritize issues to meet service expectations.
• Research, analyze, and resolve operational, procedural, and system-related issues by engaging internal stakeholders and technical teams.
• Develop business requirements, process documentation, and process maps for small-to-medium initiatives.
• Create and execute UAT plans, test cases, and scripts for system/process enhancements.
• Collaborate with peers, management, IT, and vendors; communicate clearly and professionally across all levels.
• Reconcile and process monthly vendor invoices.
• Support special projects and continuous improvement efforts that enhance Collections operations.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of transferable professional experience (entry-level).
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• Exposure to captive finance, automotive finance, or banking is strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to document processes and create test cases.
• Comfortable working with stakeholders across business, technical, and vendor teams.

Nice-to-have

• Prior experience with process mapping or business-process modeling.
• Experience executing UAT and creating test scripts.
• Familiarity with collections systems or vendor management.
• Excel skills for reconciliation and basic analysis.

Compensation & Work Type

• Estimated pay: $61,078 per year (estimated).
• Employment type: Full-time.
• Work location: Torrance, CA (on-site / hybrid details to be confirmed by Confidential Client).
