What You’ll Do
This entry-level Business Analyst will turn marketing data into timely, accurate insights and dashboards to support campaign performance across the Integrated Demand Center (IDC). You will work closely with senior analysts, data engineering, and marketing stakeholders to deliver reporting, validate data pipelines, and help automate repeatable workflows.
- Execute analytical requests and deliver accurate data extracts, ad-hoc analyses, and structured summaries for marketing stakeholders
- Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and reports (QuickSight or similar) to track campaign performance and operational KPIs
- Write and optimize SQL queries (Redshift or similar) to extract and transform marketing datasets for analysis
- Perform data quality checks, validation and reconciliation across reporting pipelines
- Support development of measurement frameworks, attribution analyses, and funnel reporting
- Collaborate with data engineering to troubleshoot ETL issues and improve data reliability
- Use AI-assisted analytics tools to accelerate query generation, data exploration, and report production
- Document analytical methodologies, query logic, and reporting processes for team knowledge bases
- Prepare clear data summaries and visualizations for weekly and monthly business reviews
A Day in the Life
Most mornings you’ll scan dashboards to understand campaign health, investigate anomalies with SQL-powered deep dives, and proactively share findings with marketers. You’ll translate stakeholder questions into analysis plans, validate data, and use automation and AI-assisted tools to shorten turnaround time for recurring reports. You’ll learn from senior analysts while contributing practical analytics and operational reporting.
About the Team
The Integrated Demand Center (IDC) is the centralized marketing function focused on planning, delivering, and measuring demand-generation at scale. The IDC Analytics team provides analytics, custom reporting, and recommendations that help teams optimize campaign performance and accelerate revenue impact. The team balances dashboard engineering, KPI definition and monitoring, and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering, statistics, computer science, or related field
- 2+ years experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, pivot tables, charts)
- Hands-on experience with SQL or ETL for data extraction and transformation
- Experience defining requirements and using metrics to draw business insights
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BI/visualization tools: QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Experience working with very large datasets (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
- Background in online advertising, marketing analytics, digital media, or sales analytics
- Familiarity collaborating with data engineering and creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
- Experience using AI-assisted analytics or query-generation tools to accelerate workflows
Location & Compensation
- Location: Nashville, TN (onsite or hybrid per client needs)
- Source-listed base pay (from original posting): $80,200 - $97,600 USD annually. Final compensation will vary with experience, qualifications, and location. Our client also typically offers benefits and additional compensation components.
