About the Role

Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is hiring an Entry‑Level Business Analyst in Tarrytown, TX. This is a full‑time, hybrid role designed for new graduates or early‑career professionals who want hands‑on experience translating business needs into actionable requirements, using data and modern AI‑enabled tools to drive improvements.

What You’ll Do

As an Entry‑Level Business Analyst, you will:

  • Learn your client’s industry, organization, customers, and objectives to inform analysis and solutions.
  • Build trusted working relationships with clients and team members by asking thoughtful questions and clarifying needs.
  • Analyze business processes, user requirements, and data to surface pain points and improvement opportunities.
  • Use foundational data skills (SQL basics, data exploration, statistical literacy) and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to support findings.
  • Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, and test artifacts.
  • Communicate recommendations clearly for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Use modern and AI‑enabled workplace tools to organize information, summarize findings, draft documentation, and streamline analysis.
  • Apply responsible AI practices—considering privacy, security, data quality, transparency, and human oversight—when using AI tools.
  • Support testing, usability reviews, documentation, training materials, and project deliverables across the lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis without current or future employer sponsorship. (Some positions may require U.S. citizenship or the ability to obtain government security clearance.)
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • Curiosity, professionalism, and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with fast‑paced, cross‑functional teams.
  • Interest in learning and responsibly using AI‑enabled tools, automation platforms, and modern productivity technologies.

Preferred (but not required):

  • Exposure via coursework, internships, research, or personal projects to public sector clients, business analysis, data visualization, cloud technologies, ERPs/CRMs, or software development.

Compensation

Confidential Client is required by law in some jurisdictions to provide an estimated compensation range. A reasonable estimate for this entry‑level Business Analyst role is:

  • $46,400 - $85,100 per year (range reflects factors such as location, experience, and qualifications).
