What You’ll Do

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Entry-Level Business Analyst to join our Confidential Client’s IT team in Manhattan, NY. You will work with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and QA to translate business needs into clear requirements and support successful project delivery.

• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
• Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements
• Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and other project documentation
• Create user stories, use cases, and basic process flows
• Communicate requirements and clarifications to business and technical teams
• Participate in Agile/Scrum team meetings and ceremonies
• Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure requirements are implemented correctly
• Assist with testing efforts and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Perform basic data analysis and prepare reports using Excel
• Track requirements and maintain project documentation
• Support day-to-day business analysis tasks and continuous learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 0–2 years of experience in Business Analysis or related roles — entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel (reporting, simple analysis)
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience writing user stories or use cases
• Basic knowledge of testing/UAT concepts
• Any exposure to business requirements documentation (BRDs)
