Position overview

Confidential Client is hiring an Entry Level Business Analyst based in Denver, CO. In this role you'll work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, support data-driven decision making, and learn modern analysis approaches including responsible use of AI-enabled tools.

What You’ll Do

• Develop a deep understanding of client organizations, customers, and business objectives.
• Build trusted relationships by asking thoughtful questions, actively listening, and clarifying needs.
• Analyze business processes, requirements, and data to identify insights, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
• Use foundational data skills (SQL basics, data exploration, statistical literacy) and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to support analysis.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, workflows, acceptance criteria, and test materials.
• Leverage AI-enabled workplace tools to organize information, summarize findings, draft documentation, and streamline analysis while applying responsible AI practices (privacy, security, data quality, transparency, human oversight).
• Communicate recommendations clearly to cross-functional audiences, and support testing, usability reviews, documentation, and training throughout the project lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For (Required & Preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Authorization to work in the United States on a permanent basis without employer sponsorship. Some roles may require U.S. citizenship or the ability to obtain/maintain a government security clearance.
• Curiosity, professionalism, and a strong desire for continuous learning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex information.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Preferred: exposure to business analysis, AI tools, data analysis, cloud technologies, cybersecurity concepts, or software development through coursework, internships, or projects.
• Interest in learning and responsibly using AI-enabled tools, automation platforms, and modern productivity technologies to enhance analysis.

Compensation & Logistics

• Employment type: Permanent / Full-time.
• Estimated pay range: $46,400 - $85,100 (range provided by Confidential Client; final offer depends on experience, skills, and other factors).
• Fall application period: August 24, 2026 - October 2, 2026.
