Overview

Confidential Client (IT — Health Insurance) is seeking an entry-level Business Analyst to support business and technology initiatives on a 1-year hybrid contract based in Elkins Park, PA (near Philadelphia). This role works with development teams and business partners to document requirements, map processes, and translate technical work into clear materials for internal audiences. The position is ideal for new graduates or early-career professionals who are analytical, collaborative, and eager to learn.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with development teams and business stakeholders to understand initiatives, requirements, and business processes
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Define scope and objectives based on user needs and process understanding
• Assist with process improvement efforts, including gap identification and root-cause analysis
• Create clear documentation and communication materials (emails, presentations, summaries, reports)
• Translate technical concepts into business-friendly content for varied audiences
• Support project and department-level activities under general supervision

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Business Administration, MIS, Information Systems, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related analytical/business discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Basic understanding of business analysis concepts, requirements documentation, and process mapping

• Exposure to business analysis or technology projects through coursework, internships, or early-career roles
• Familiarity with tools or concepts such as Figma, UX/UI basics, SQL, Visual Studio, or Agile/SDLC
• Technical or analytical background is a plus
