What You’ll Do
The Confidential Client is hiring entry- to mid-level Business Analysts / Data Analysts to support hybrid/onsite projects in Charlotte, NC. You will work with business stakeholders and technical teams to turn data into actionable insights that improve operations and support decision-making.
- Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements.
- Build reports and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to present findings.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and prepare data.
- Support project planning, implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Participate in process-improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
- Communicate results and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field (Master’s is a plus).
- Open to candidates from entry-level up to ~6 years of relevant experience.
- Practical knowledge of Excel and SQL.
- Experience or familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or other analytics/visualization tools preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.; typical authorizations accepted include U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, GC EAD, and H4 EAD.
Nice to Have
- Prior exposure to business process mapping or requirements-gathering workshops.
- Experience with scripting (Python/R) for data manipulation or automation.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts or ETL tools.
Compensation & Logistics
- Employment type: W2 contract (hybrid / onsite in North Carolina).
- Estimated pay (from source data): $45,867 per year — estimated.
- Work location: Charlotte, NC (on-site / hybrid as required by the client).
