Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior Service / Master Technicians and Team Leaders with vehicle examinations and inspections.
• Help identify required collision repairs, parts, and maintenance tasks.
• Support estimating and documenting repair costs and services performed.
• Assist with repairing and servicing vehicle components under supervision.
• Request and track parts needed for repairs using the shop’s parts system.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area consistent with shop standards.
• Accurately record work hours in the company timekeeping system.
• Participate in required training programs and progress toward industry certifications.
• Use dealership/manufacturer diagnostic tools and technology to enhance the customer experience.
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, federal, state, and local safety and compliance rules.
• Perform other assigned duties to support the service team.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and systems; demonstrable mechanical aptitude.
• Technical training or equivalent hands-on experience preferred; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that include standing, walking, bending, climbing, and working around vehicles and equipment.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work scheduled shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, follow instructions, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Willingness to pursue manufacturer, NAPA, or state inspection/emissions training as applicable.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work performed primarily in the service/collision area around vehicles.
• Exposure to noise, vibration, exhaust fumes, and typical repair-shop conditions.

• Frequent interaction with service advisors, managers, and customers.
