Biotech Associate
The Biotech Associate at Confidential Client is responsible for operating and monitoring biomanufacturing equipment and executing bioprocess recipes under strict cGMP conditions in a cleanroom environment. This full-time, on-site role involves batch execution, documentation, basic analytical testing, and maintaining facility standards while working rotating shifts to support the production of therapeutic proteins and active pharmaceutical ingredients.

What You Will Do
Work on site in a cleanroom manufacturing environment to support the production of therapeutic proteins and APIs. Responsibilities include:
- Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot biomanufacturing equipment (including CIP and SIP systems)
- Execute batch processes and record production activities following SOPs and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Perform routine analytical checks (pH, conductivity) and product sampling
- Maintain cleanroom hygiene, perform sanitization and gowning procedures, and support 6S site standards
- Safely move raw materials and chemicals between production areas
- Complete required training, participate in shift handovers, and attend team meetings
Qualifications
This role is suitable for early-career candidates with manufacturing or laboratory experience, preferably in regulated environments.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field preferred
- Entry-level experience (0–4 years) in manufacturing, biopharma, or a regulated cleanroom environment
- Basic understanding of cGMP, aseptic technique, and GDP is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and clear written/verbal communication
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (day or night), stand or walk for extended periods, wear full PPE/gowning, and lift up to 50 lbs
Compensation & Schedule
- Estimated compensation: $69,548 per year (estimated)
- Full-time, site-based role on a rotating manufacturing schedule (12-hour shifts; days or nights)
- On-site work in a controlled cleanroom environment is required
