Position Overview

Confidential Client (IT) is hiring an entry‑level Bilingual Test Engineer I (Spanish speaking) to join their on‑site testing team in Lakewood Township, NJ. This role supports validation and certification of software and hardware products used in regulated gaming/IT environments. You'll execute and document test methods, report defects, and coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop an understanding of technical requirements, regulations, and customer expectations
  • Research special rules, identify applicable requirements, and apply them to testing
  • Accurately develop and execute test methods for technical and client requirements
  • Record and document test results, reproducible defects, and remediation steps
  • Communicate testing status and findings to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Manage assigned tasks and small projects against budgets and timelines
  • Learn and apply domain-specific test standards used in regulated environments

Qualifications

  • Must be bilingual in Spanish (read, write, and speak)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, math or related technical field, or 4 years equivalent technical experience/certification
  • Knowledge of C++ or another modern object‑oriented programming language (required)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
  • High attention to detail, quality, and deadlines
  • Ability to pass a thorough background investigation
  • Willingness to obtain any required gaming or jurisdictional licenses, if requested

Location & Schedule

  • Work location: On‑site at Lakewood Township, NJ office
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 40 hours per week
  • Note: Some positions may require obtaining gaming or jurisdictional licenses per client/regulator requirements

Compensation & Benefits

  • Rate: $31.00 per hour (approx. $64,470 annually)
