Overview
Confidential Client is hiring a Bilingual Sales Consultant for an outside-sales territory based in Altama, GA. This is a quota-driven role focused on building relationships with foodservice and restaurant customers, growing sales, and delivering exceptional customer service. Estimated pay: $63,051 per year (estimated) plus bonus and benefits.
What You’ll Do
This outside-sales role combines territory development, account management, and product education. You will:
- Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth.
- Qualify prospects and execute territory plans aligned with account stratification goals.
- Research customer needs and recommend product/service mixes that meet those needs.
- Present product information, provide practical training, and support customer menu development.
- Track market trends and competitor activity to offer value-added insights to customers.
- Manage order/delivery issues, collaborate with internal teams, and help troubleshoot inventory or special-order problems.
- Support collections and coordinate with credit/operations teams as needed.
- Participate in sales and district meetings, training sessions, and company promotions.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed territory sales and profitability targets.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships across restaurant and foodservice accounts.
- Prepare sales quotes, menu suggestions, budgets and sales reports.
- Maintain accurate sales records and follow administrative processes (credits, pick-ups, etc.).
- Represent the company at customer events, conventions, and trade shows.
- Assist with onboarding and mentoring new team members when requested.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED plus 3 years’ restaurant management, B2B/outside sales experience, or equivalent relevant experience (including completion of an approved sales internship).
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance that meets company insurability standards.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Proficiency with basic PC skills and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to the geographical vicinity of the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (Spanish or another language commonly used in the local market).
- Experience in restaurant management, foodservice outside sales, or as a chef.
- Prior territory sales experience in the foodservice or hospitality sector.
Certificates, Licenses & Registrations
- Current automobile insurance with typical liability limits (example from source: Bodily injury - $100,000 each person / $300,000 each accident; property damage - $100,000).
- Driving record that meets company insurability standards.
Requirements & Hiring Conditions
- Must pass employment testing.
- Must sign Confidential Client Protective Covenants Agreement as a condition of employment.
- Some non-traditional hours may be required (evenings, weekends, holidays) to meet customer needs.
- Travel within the assigned territory is required; use of a personal vehicle is expected.
