What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Bilingual Spanish Behavior Technician (RBT/BT) to deliver client-centered ABA therapy in Philatelic, CA. This is an excellent role for candidates beginning a career in Applied Behavior Analysis who want paid training, strong supervision, and a clear growth path.
- Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions in homes, schools, and community settings.
- Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based ABA techniques to teach skills and reduce challenging behavior.
- Collect accurate session data and maintain timely, clear documentation.
- Communicate progress and behavioral observations to the supervising BCBA.
- Support generalization of skills by coaching caregivers and coordinating with team members.
- Participate in training, supervision, and team meetings as directed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
- Experience working with children or in caregiving roles is a plus (e.g., childcare, tutoring, teaching, camp counseling, DSP).
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is a plus — support and training may be provided.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable working with families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Reliable transportation and commitment to regular attendance.
- Patience, compassion, and strong organizational skills.
Work Environment & Schedule
- Sessions take place in client homes, schools, and community locations throughout Philatelic, CA.
- Role may require standing, walking, and engaging in physical activities with clients.
- Flexible scheduling is often required to meet client needs; schedule flexibility is typically offered to staff where possible.
