Benefits Analyst
The Benefits Analyst at Confidential Client supports the administration, auditing, and analysis of employee benefits programs to ensure data accuracy and regulatory compliance. This entry-level role involves collaborating with HR, payroll, and vendors to manage benefits data, support open enrollment, and respond to employee inquiries, contributing to effective benefits management and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with administration of employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, retirement, wellness).
- Audit benefits data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform routine data validation and reconciliation between HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems.
- Maintain accurate benefits records and documentation.
- Generate reports and analyze benefits data using Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
- Support open enrollment activities and prepare employee communications.
- Assist with vendor invoicing, eligibility audits, and compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and external benefits vendors to resolve issues.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee information and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Help answer employee benefits questions and escalate as needed.
- Assist in tracking leave of absence and workers’ compensation cases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and comfort with data analysis.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly — including AI tools used to improve efficiency and documentation.
- Strong customer-service and communication skills; able to handle confidential information professionally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with HRIS or benefits administration systems is a plus.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
