About the Role
Confidential Client is a provider of educational and therapeutic services for children with special needs. In this entry-level IBHS clinic-based role as a Behavioral Health Technician, you will implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions for children and adolescents, delivering 1:1 behavioral and skill-acquisition support in a therapeutic setting at our Wexford, PA location.
Who You Are
You are an eager, compassionate individual seeking hands-on experience in behavioral health. You want to make an observable difference working directly with children and adolescents, and you take direction from clinical teams to carry out evidence-based interventions.
What You’ll Do
- Provide 1:1 behavioral and skill-acquisition support to clients in identified areas of need at the Wexford clinic.
- Implement treatment plans and behavioral interventions consistent with IBHS guidance.
- Complete timely documentation and reporting in accordance with Hope and IBHS deadlines and legal timelines.
- Collaborate with the treatment team (clinicians, behavioral staff, and other service providers) to support client progress.
- Follow safety protocols and participate in care planning and team meetings.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (required).
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Experience working with individuals with developmental delays or special needs is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow treatment protocols and maintain accurate documentation.
Clearances & Training Required
To comply with state regulations and to ensure safety in our program, candidates must obtain or provide the following:
- Act 33 PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- Act 34 PA State Criminal History Clearance
- Act 114 FBI Clearance (issued by the Dept. of Education)
- Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training Certificate
- Act 168 (from previous employers where applicable)
- CPR / First Aid certification
- TB test and a current physical
