Overview

Confidential Client is hiring Behavioral Health Counselors to join clinical teams in the Columbus, Ohio area (Whitehall, Columbus, Reynoldsburg). These full-time roles support individuals with mental health, substance-use, and co-occurring disorders. Entry-level candidates are welcome for eligible positions.

Compensation & Sign‑On Bonus

• License-based salary ranges (annual):
  • LCDC II / LCDC III: $50,000–$57,500
  • Bachelor’s LSW: $60,000–$67,500
  • LPC / Master’s LSW / LICDC / LICDC-CS: $65,000–$72,500
  • LISW / LPCC: $70,000–$80,000
  • LPCC‑S / LISW‑S: $75,000–$83,500
• Sign‑on bonus: $2,500 after 6 months + $2,500 after 1 year
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
• Employment type: Full time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct counseling and case management to clients with mental health, substance-use, and co-occurring disorders
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress according to agency standards
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external providers to support continuity of care
• Deliver evidence‑based interventions and crisis support when needed
• Maintain professional licensure, documentation, and compliance with confidentiality and regulatory requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Relevant behavioral health license or credentials required for the listed pay scale (LCDC, LSW, LPC, LICDC, LISW, LPCC, etc.)
• Strong communication and client‑care skills
• Clinical experience requirements vary by role; entry‑level counselors may be eligible for certain positions
• Local candidates preferred; relocation must be completed before starting (relocation assistance is not available)
