Key Responsibilities

This community-facing Behavioral Health Case Manager (QMHP) role supports children and families in Borger, TX and nearby service areas. The role prioritizes trauma-informed, evidence-based, family-centered interventions.

  • Deliver trauma-informed, culturally competent care and skills training to youth (ages 3–17) and their families in home and community settings (≈50%+ face-to-face or by phone).
  • Teach and role-model skills for community living, social and coping skills, problem solving, anger management, parenting, and self-control.
  • Train and implement Texas Resilience and Recovery (TRR) approved curricula and other evidence-based practices.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate services are provided.
  • Provide outreach and engagement to families using a family- and person-centered approach.
  • Document services and submit required records within 48 hours of service delivery.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with children’s and adult behavioral health teams and external partners.
  • Maintain professional, ethical communication and adhere to the Confidential Client Business Code of Conduct.

Qualifications & Credentials (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, or related Human Services field (required for QMHP credentialing).
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and insurable driving record.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Willingness to use personal mobile device for two-factor authentication when required.

Experience-based tiering (used to determine level and pay):

  • Case Manager I — $40,809.60/yr: Entry level; no prior behavioral health case management experience required.
  • Case Manager II — $43,305.60/yr: Minimum 1 year of behavioral health case management experience.
  • Case Manager III — $46,009.60/yr: Minimum 2 years of behavioral health case management experience.
  • Graduate-level coursework in a related field may substitute for up to 1 year of required experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills (strong plus).
  • Prior experience working with youth and families in community or clinical settings.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based youth interventions.

Compensation & Employment Type

  • Employment type: Full-Time.
  • Salary: $40,809.60 – $46,009.60 per year (USD), paid according to level/tiering described above.
  • Location: Borger, TX (work occurs in home and community settings across the local service area). Travel within the service area may be required.
