Role Summary
This listing is for a Behavior Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) — Full‑time in Cottage Grove, MN. The confidential client provides paid training, guaranteed full‑time hours, and a comprehensive benefits package. This position is onsite and supports pediatric clients using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.
What You’ll Do
You will implement ABA treatment under BCBA supervision to improve outcomes for children. Core responsibilities include:
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans as directed by the BCBA.
- Collect and record data digitally on client progress and behavior.
- Build rapport and maintain positive therapeutic relationships with patients and caregivers.
- Collaborate with the BCBA and clinic team to review and update plans.
- Apply interventions consistently, maintaining ethical standards and PHI confidentiality.
- Support an inclusive, team-first clinic culture.
Qualifications & Schedule
Minimum and preferred qualifications:
- Experience as an RBT is a plus but NOT required; paid training is provided.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred for entry-level BT roles (any field). Psychology degrees are helpful.
- Availability Monday–Friday, generally ~7:45 AM – 4:30 PM (schedule may vary by site).
- Passion for working with children. Relevant backgrounds include childcare, nanny, teacher’s aide, special education, summer camp counselor, pediatric therapy, nursing, or other youth-focused roles.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, sit on the floor for extended periods, and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to move quickly in response to client needs and to work cooperatively in a clinical team.
Compensation & Benefits
Visible pay range for this posting: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour (hourly; employer-provided).
