What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking compassionate, dependable Behavior Technicians to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs for children and young adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is an entry-level role with company-paid RBT certification and paid training.
- Deliver direct 1:1 and small-group ABA therapy according to written treatment plans under BCBA/Clinical Supervisor direction.
- Implement skill-acquisition programs across domains (communication, social, self-care, learner readiness) and behavior-reduction protocols.
- Collect accurate session data, complete insurance notes and ensure timely session conversion for billing in the online data platform.
- Maintain client confidentiality consistent with HIPAA.
- Assist with assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS) under supervision once trained.
- Provide coverage and support across environments — center, home, and community — including required travel.
- Follow center routines: opening/closing, cleaning, session-material prep and team collaboration.
- Respond calmly and deliberately to challenging behavior following the client’s Behavior Intervention Plan.
- Participate in staff meetings, required training, and complete assignments/homework related to professional development.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required. Enrollment or degree in psychology, education, communication disorders, or related field preferred.
- Strong interest in working with children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Willingness to learn ABA principles and grow toward RBT certification.
- Reliable transportation for travel between therapy locations.
- Good communication skills with families and multidisciplinary team members.
- Comfort using tablets/iPads and basic Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs, transition quickly, and perform physical tasks (kneel, bend, stand, walk) as needed.
- Authorized to work for any U.S. employer; Confidential Client is not able to sponsor work visas at this time.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting pay: $22.00 per hour (company-paid RBT training and certifications).
- Estimated annual: ~$35,238 (per public salary estimate).
- Full-time & part-time schedules — flexibility to find a schedule that fits your life.
- Monday–Friday schedule available (some client needs may require evenings/weekends or overtime).

Schedule & Location
- Location: Evergreen Park, IL — role requires in-person work at the center and travel to client homes and community sites.

- Hours vary by client needs; schedule may include evenings or weekends depending on caseload.
Additional Details & Physical Requirements
- This role may include diaper changing and toilet training support.
- Prolonged periods of computer/tablet use required for data entry and documentation.
- This position requires the ability to work in environments with elevated noise levels and respond quickly in emergencies.
- Physical demands include frequent lifting/pushing/pulling (10–25 lbs generally; up to 50 lbs occasionally).
