Position overview

Confidential Client (Healthcare & Nursing) is hiring a part-time In-Home Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Chicago, IL. This hands-on role supports clients in home settings by implementing individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision. Schedule: Mon/Wed/Fri, 4:30–7:30 PM. Pay: $19.00–$30.00 per hour.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver 1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in clients’ homes following individualized treatment plans.
• Teach language, academic, social, and self-help skills using evidence-based ABA techniques.
• Implement behavior intervention plans and collect data to track client progress.
• Provide parent training and coach families to support generalization of skills.
• Assist in creating materials and new client programming as directed by clinical staff.
• Receive regular field supervision and ongoing training from BCBA-level clinicians.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of direct 1:1 experience providing ABA or rehabilitative services to children with autism spectrum disorder and/or developmental disabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a closely related developmental disabilities field required.
• Experience implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Strong time-management skills and ability to manage a caseload.
• BCBA coursework or enrollment in a BCBA fieldwork/internship program strongly preferred.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and committed to quality behavior-analytic programming.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $19.00–$30.00 per hour.
• Confidential Client covers the RBT exam testing fee ($100) and offers a $250 bonus upon becoming an RBT.
• Monthly and quarterly perfect-attendance bonuses; additional $5/hr for Sunday shifts.
• Travel stipend between clients and RBT supervision hours provided.
• Yearly performance reviews and opportunities for advancement to increased hours based on availability and willingness to travel.

Schedule, Location & Travel

• Position type: Part-time / Contractor.
• Typical schedule: Mon/Wed/Fri, 4:30–7:30 PM (in‑home visits).
• Work location: Client homes across Chicago, IL. Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client locations.

Physical Demands

• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Frequent use of hands/fingers; may require squatting, stooping, kneeling, reaching above the head, and using hand strength to grasp.
