Position overview

Confidential Client is hiring a part-time ABA Behavior Technician to provide one-to-one, in-home support for children and teens with Autism or developmental disabilities in the Rosemead, CA area. This role works under BCBA supervision to implement individualized behavior plans, collect data, and coach families. This posting is for a part-time position with flexible afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in clients’ homes following individualized plans developed by a BCBA
• Implement behavior intervention plans, discrete trial training, naturalistic teaching, and other ABA strategies
• Collect accurate session data and progress notes each visit
• Support skill development (communication, social skills, daily living) and reduce maladaptive behavior
• Model and train family members and caregivers to promote carryover and generalization
• Communicate with supervising BCBA about progress, barriers, and next steps
• Travel to client homes (mileage reimbursement provided)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field is required
• Strong interest in working with children and families affected by Autism
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes across Rosemead and nearby communities
• Ability to work afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends (flexible scheduling available)
• Strong communication, patience, and observational skills
• Ability to follow treatment plans and collect accurate data
• RBT certification is a plus; pay may be higher for RBTs

Preferred

• Experience working with children or in caregiving / therapeutic settings (entry-level applicants welcome; paid training provided)
• Familiarity with ABA principles and data collection
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: Up to $26 per hour (based on experience and RBT certification)
