About the Role
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level, part-time Behavior Interventionist to support children and teens (ages 3–17) in delivering evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. You will work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and the clinical team to implement behavior reduction and skill-acquisition programs in clients’ homes.
What You’ll Do
- Implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs developed by the BCBA and clinical team.
- Model, prompt, and teach self-care and daily living skills.
- Encourage social interaction and communication with children and teens.
- Support families during community outings and in-home activities.
- Observe, record, and document behavior and progress data to inform treatment planning.
- Maintain strict client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Attend required trainings and team meetings (trainings held in Orange; some meetings may be virtual).
- Provide caregiver coaching and basic behavior-management strategies consistent with ABA principles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree (or currently pursuing) in behavioral health, psychology, education, or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (drive time and mileage reimbursed).
- Able to pass FBI/DOJ clearance through Live Scan.
- Availability to work between 2:00 PM–8:00 PM and for a minimum of 10 hours per week; weekend coverage may be available.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
- Applied Behavior Analysis and data-collection training available — no prior ABA certification required for this entry-level role.

Schedule, Location & Travel

- Typical client-facing hours: 2:00 PM–8:00 PM; some weekend opportunities.
- Services are provided in clients’ homes (in-home therapy across Anaheim and surrounding areas). Multiple cases may require driving between homes — drive time and mileage are reimbursed.
- Trainings and team meetings are held in-person at the office in Orange; some group trainings may be virtual.
Compensation
- Estimated pay (from source listing): $52,442 per year (estimated). Actual pay may vary based on experience, certifications, location, and role specifics. Confidential Client will provide final compensation details during the interview process.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Able to stand and move frequently for prolonged periods.
- Able to work in environments with fluctuating temperature ranges.
- Able to frequently lift up to 25 pounds (with or without assistance).
- Comfortable working in diverse home settings, including smaller apartments and homes with limited resources.
- PPE provided; COVID-19 safety protocols in place as required.
