Overview

Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is seeking a BAN PMO Experienced Associate to join an IT team in Glendale, CO. This role focuses on cybersecurity incident management and supports incident triage, analysis, containment, remediation, and client communication. This is an early-career role for candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of related experience who want to grow technical skills in security operations and incident response.


What You’ll Do

  • Support cybersecurity incident management activities: gather information, track tasks, and maintain status updates
  • Analyze alerts, logs, and incident data to identify patterns and prioritize issues
  • Assist with incident triage, containment, remediation, and post-incident documentation
  • Coordinate across technical teams to manage workstreams, dependencies, and deadlines
  • Learn and apply security operations, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response planning concepts
  • Prepare meeting materials, project notes, and client-ready updates for internal and external audiences
  • Apply basic cyber threat intelligence and forensic investigation concepts to support assessments and investigations
  • Use firm tools, processes, and standards while delivering reliable, timely work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

What you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree (any field)
  • At least 1 year of professional experience (related internships or co-ops count)

What sets you apart (preferred)

  • Coursework or internship experience in cybersecurity, information technology, or data analysis
  • Degree or coursework in Business Administration/Management, Computer and Information Science, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Applications, or Computer Engineering
  • Demonstrated curiosity about incident management and security operations
  • Ability to interpret varied data sources to identify patterns and trends
  • Strong written and verbal communication; asks good questions and listens actively
  • Adaptable, takes ownership of tasks and deliverables

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $63,000 - $140,000 per year (actual pay depends on experience, qualifications, and location)
  • Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
  • Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and family sick leave (specific plans vary by client)

Location & Work Authorization

  • Location: Glendale, CO (work is expected to be performed in or near Glendale)
