What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking a BAN PMO Experienced Associate to support cybersecurity incident management and PMO activities. You will help identify, analyze, and resolve security incidents while tracking project tasks, coordinating workstreams, and preparing client-ready updates. This is an opportunity to develop hands-on incident response and security operations experience in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Support cyber incident management projects: gather info, track tasks, and maintain status updates
- Analyze alerts, logs, and incident data to identify patterns and prioritize issues
- Assist in incident triage, containment, remediation, and post-incident documentation
- Coordinate activities across technical teams to monitor dependencies and deadlines
- Prepare meeting materials, project notes, and client-ready status updates
- Apply cyber threat intelligence and basic forensic concepts to investigations
- Learn and use firm tools, methods, and standards to deliver reliable execution
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (any field)
- At least 1 year of relevant experience (internships or coursework in cybersecurity, IT, data analysis, or project coordination count)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze information from multiple sources and identify trends
- Comfortable working in team settings and taking ownership of assigned tasks
Preferred / Differentiators
- Degree or coursework in Business Administration/Management, Computer Science, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, MIS, Computer Applications, or Computer Engineering
- Demonstrated curiosity about cybersecurity incident management or security operations
- Internship or project experience with incident response, log analysis, or security tools
- Ability to quickly adapt to new tools, processes, and client environments
- Experience preparing client-facing materials or status reports
Travel & Work Location
- Based in Denver, CO. Travel up to 40% may be required to support client work and on-site activities.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $63,000 - $140,000 (Actual pay depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.)
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, retirement plan options, paid time off, and other benefits per Confidential Client policies.
