What You’ll Do

As a Backoffice Consulting Associate supporting healthcare provider clients, you will help improve operational efficiency, support strategic initiatives, and deliver data-driven recommendations. You’ll work within client teams and cross-functional project groups to analyze processes, identify opportunities, and implement solutions that increase productivity and quality.

• Analyze client backoffice processes and operational workflows to identify root causes and efficiency opportunities
• Use business data analytics to develop insights and quantify opportunities for improvement
• Design and recommend process optimization, automation, and operational-excellence initiatives
• Collaborate with client and internal teams to create actionable implementation plans
• Support change management and business transformation activities to ensure sustainable adoption
• Develop clear deliverables (presentations, process maps, analyses) for client stakeholders
• Support senior staff in managing client relationships and project execution
• Apply critical thinking to break down complex problems and propose practical solutions while maintaining technical and professional standards

Travel & Work Requirements

• Up to 80% travel required (client sites and project locations). This may vary by engagement.
• This role is based in Austin, TX (on-site and client-facing work expected per engagement).

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience (consulting, healthcare operations, analytics, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications (What Sets You Apart)

• Degree background in Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Business, Computer Science/IS, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Health Administration/Public Health, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain, or related fields
• Demonstrated proficiency in business data analytics and process optimization
• Experience with AI-assisted workflows or AI-human collaboration in project work
• Exposure to business transformation, change management, or operational-excellence programs
• Experience or interest in logistics/supply chain elements within healthcare operations

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range (provided by the client): $63,000 - $140,000 per year. Actual pay will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
• Eligible for annual discretionary bonus (per client policy).
• Typical benefits may include medical, dental, vision, retirement plan options, paid time off and other standard benefits — specific benefits determined by the hiring organization.
