What You’ll Do
You will join the confidential client’s Cloud Engineering and Platform team to support design, deployment, and operational support for cloud infrastructure. Typical responsibilities include:
- Support cloud infrastructure design and deployment activities for client technology environments.
- Assist in implementation of AWS solutions across compute, storage, networking, and virtualization services.
- Configure and troubleshoot cloud network components, firewalls, routing, and connectivity.
- Contribute to cloud migration, platform integration, and infrastructure upgrade efforts.
- Collaborate on network design, deployment, and operational support for secure, scalable environments.
- Use cloud monitoring and troubleshooting tools to identify performance issues and support resolution efforts.
- Document technical findings, implementation steps, and service updates for project teams and client stakeholders.
- Apply platform engineering, IT operations, and infrastructure-management concepts to deliver dependable support.
- Learn and apply architecture frameworks, service management practices, and cloud deployment methods in client-facing work.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum requirements to be considered for this role:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 1 year hands-on experience with AWS core services in a production or client environment.
- Basic understanding of networking, virtualization, and cloud deployment concepts.
- Strong communication, active listening, and teamwork skills for client settings.
Preferred Qualifications
Skills and credentials that will make your application stand out:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- One or more certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate, or HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate.
- Experience with containerized workloads (Amazon ECS, Amazon EKS, or AWS Fargate).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Amazon CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk, Grafana).
- Experience using managed databases (Amazon RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB).
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code and tools such as Terraform.
- Experience or coursework demonstrating cloud infrastructure skills through internships or projects.
- Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools with disciplined review practices.
- Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, client-facing project work.
Travel & Compensation
- Travel: Up to 80% travel may be required depending on engagements.
- Salary range (provided by the confidential client): $63,000 - $140,000 per year. Actual compensation within the range will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
