What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an Experienced Associate to join their AWM (Asset & Wealth Management) Operations consulting team in Boston, MA. In this role you will support client engagements that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness across asset and wealth management operations. You will learn from senior consultants while contributing to research, analysis, solution design, and client deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Support client projects focused on process improvement, operating model design, and service delivery transformation for asset & wealth management operations.
- Analyze business needs, workflows, and data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
- Gather, validate and interpret data from multiple sources to inform recommendations.
- Assist in designing operational strategies, performance metrics, and service delivery models.
- Apply project management and consulting techniques to organize workstreams, monitor milestones, and track deliverables.
- Use digital tools and analytics methods to assess process performance and quantify impact.
- Prepare research documentation, client-ready slide decks, and executive summaries that communicate findings and proposed actions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to support implementation activities and maintain clear communication.
- Follow firm policies, professional standards, and independence requirements in day-to-day work.
What You Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in consulting, operations, financial services, or a related field.
What Sets You Apart
- Degree or coursework in Accounting, Actuarial Science, Data Science/Analytics, Business, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Public Policy, Health Administration, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain, Organizational Management, or Risk Management.
- Prior coursework or exposure to operations consulting, asset management, or financial services operations.
- Strong analytical curiosity and comfort with quantitative analysis.
- Ability to adapt quickly across multiple clients and team settings.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; active listening and thoughtful question-asking.
- Demonstrated ownership, openness to feedback, and a continuous learning mindset.
- Commercial awareness and strong interest in business process improvement.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range (Boston, MA): $63,000 - $140,000 per year. Actual pay will depend on experience, qualifications, and applicable employment laws.
- Eligible employees may receive an annual discretionary bonus.
- Typical benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and personal/sick leave. Specific benefits will be provided by the hiring organization at offer stage.
