What You’ll Do

As an AWM Operations Associate supporting a Confidential Client, you will help clients improve operational efficiency across asset and wealth management functions. You will support engagements that analyze processes, design operational solutions, and drive measurable performance improvements.

• Support client assessments to identify operational gaps and improvement opportunities
• Analyze data and operations to identify process bottlenecks and root causes
• Help design and document streamlined processes, controls, and operating models
• Contribute to development of implementation plans, including change management activities
• Support stakeholder engagement and coordinate cross-functional workstreams
• Prepare clear deliverables: process maps, presentations, data summaries, and recommendations
• Participate in process-improvement and transformation initiatives to deliver operational excellence
• Apply market research and benchmarking to inform recommendations
• Uphold professional and regulatory standards consistent with client protocols and independence rules

Qualifications

What you must have:

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience (operations, consulting, analytics, or related role)

What sets you apart:

• Degree or coursework in Accounting, Analytics/Data Science, Business, Computer Science/Information Systems, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Operations/Supply Chain, Risk Management, or related field
• Experience with process improvement, business transformation or operational excellence initiatives
• Familiarity with change management and stakeholder engagement best practices
• Strong analytical curiosity and ability to synthesize information from multiple sources
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to produce client-ready deliverables
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and willingness to travel as needed

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $63,000 - $140,000 (actual pay depends on skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and applicable laws)
• Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
• Benefits typically include medical, dental, vision, retirement/401(k), paid time off, and other employer-provided benefits (actual package varies by location and the Confidential Client’s policies)

• Location: Columbia, SC (role supports client engagements across the region)
• Travel: Up to 20%
