What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Aviation Civil Associate to support airport and transportation projects. The role reports to an Aviation Engineer or Project Manager and includes planning, design, and construction engineering tasks such as:
- Geometric layout of airfield infrastructure, facilities, and adjacent roadways or parking areas
- Drainage design for airfield, roadway, and parking lot projects
- Civil/site design to support airport building structures
- Preparation of technical specifications for landside and airside projects
- Preparation of construction cost estimates
- Writing engineer’s reports and developing client presentation graphics
- Construction engineering support: shop drawing review, responding to contractor questions, and periodic site visits
- Field inspections supporting airfield management programs
- Collaborating with multi-discipline teams, meeting deadlines, and contributing as a motivated self-starter
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology
- 0–2 years of relevant experience under a registered professional engineer
- Aviation, transportation, or site development engineering experience preferred but not required
- AutoCAD experience required; Civil 3D experience strongly preferred
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
Compensation
- The approximate pay range for this position is $80,000 to $85,000 per year. This is a good-faith estimate based on the role at time of posting; actual pay will be determined by factors such as education, experience, qualifications, and work location.
Workplace Flexibility
- This is a hybrid role based in Parkway, GA. Candidates should be able to work on-site as required for meetings, site visits, and collaborative project work.
