Position overview

This posting describes an entry-level Automotive Associate Supervisor role supporting fleet maintenance, vendor relationships, cost control and supervision of technicians across shifts. The Confidential Client is hiring for a full-time, second-shift position based in Sparks, NV.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise and coach automotive technicians (ADP graduates and other technicians) to ensure safe, timely, and compliant vehicle maintenance.
• Schedule maintenance, monitor repairs, and track vehicle performance and safety.
• Monitor and control repair expenses, labor hours, parts inventory and procurement within approval limits.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers; coordinate quotes, approvals and vendor performance reviews.
• Perform regular equipment, vehicle and facility audits across multiple shifts and locations.
• Support equipment disposal and replacement planning to optimize lifecycle costs.
• Participate in training, webinars and mentoring programs to develop team and technical capabilities.
• Provide clear written and verbal updates to management on operations, cost drivers and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 1 year of experience in the automotive or vehicle maintenance field; experience supervising or leading small teams preferred.
• Technical knowledge of tools, methods and safety practices used to maintain and repair vehicles and related equipment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced maintenance environment with multiple shifts.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; able to document maintenance and communicate with internal customers.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Requirements & Schedule

• Location: Sparks, NV — must reside within the geographic area or be willing to relocate (relocation assistance not offered).
• Schedule: Typically Tuesday–Saturday; second shift / twilight shift (approximate start ~2:00 PM), up to 5 days per week. Shift may vary based on business needs.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to pass any role-related background checks and meet physical requirements for vehicle/facility maintenance work.

Compensation & Employment Type

• Employment type: Full-time, Permanent.
• Estimated pay (source listing): $70,060 per year (estimated). Actual compensation may vary based on experience and location.
