Role Overview

Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is seeking an Audit Evaluation & Review Analyst to support risk management and contract oversight activities. This role focuses on contract monitoring, compliance audit review, SSAE (SOC 1 & SOC 2) review, and supporting procurement/contract-management functions. This is an in-office, full-time role based in Tallahassee, FL.


What You’ll Do

  • Perform contract monitoring activities for Division contracts.
  • Review SSAE reports (SOC 1 and SOC 2) and summarize findings.
  • Audit and evaluate contractor reports; collaborate with Contract Managers to develop recommendations.
  • Conduct technical analytical reviews and evaluations of audits.
  • Compile, analyze, and document audit findings; maintain documentation standards.
  • Assist with procurement and contract management related tasks.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate assigned work to meet deadlines.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to management and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of experience performing contract management functions and/or performing compliance audits.
  • Knowledge of accounting and auditing policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of data compilation and analysis methods.
  • Basic mathematical competency.
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to review, analyze, and evaluate data and audit reports.
  • Ability to develop and maintain documentation standards.
  • Ability to assist with procurement and contract management related functions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (preferred).
  • Prior experience reviewing SSAE / SOC 1 & SOC 2 reports.
  • Experience working in risk financing, loss prevention, or similar audit/risk functions.
  • Familiarity with public-sector contracting or regulatory compliance is a plus.

Work Location & Schedule

  • Location: Tallahassee, FL (on-site)
  • Typical hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • This role requires regular office presence; remote/telework is not indicated.

Compensation

  • Salary range: $47,668.01 - $60,000.00 per year (as provided by the source). Exact pay depends on experience and qualifications and will comply with applicable state pay-transparency laws.
