What You’ll Do
This entry-level Audit & Assurance Associate role is an opportunity to learn public accounting and support audit engagements. Typical responsibilities include:
- Assist in planning and executing audit and assurance engagements
- Perform audit procedures, including substantive testing and documentation
- Prepare and organize workpapers following firm standards
- Analyze financial statements and identify discrepancies or areas needing follow-up
- Support senior team members during client communications and fieldwork
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards (GAAP, AICPA/ASB guidance)
Qualifications
Candidates who will succeed in this role typically have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Interest in the CPA track or intention to pursue CPA licensure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on small teams
- Internship or exposure to audit/accounting software (e.g., engagement/workpaper tools) is a plus but not required
Compensation & Schedule
- Base salary: $67,000 - $73,000 per year
- Employment type: Contract, Full-time
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Location: Lake Cable, OH (on-site / client locations as assigned)

- This is an entry-level position; prior full audit experience is not required.
- Candidates with internship experience, familiarity with audit processes, or a strong academic background in accounting are encouraged to apply.
