What You’ll Do
This Audit Associate role supports centralized audit operations for a confidential client in the Accounting & Finance industry. You will review payroll, tax, and accounting records to determine premium bases for insurance lines such as Workers' Compensation, General Liability, and Professional Liability.
- Review and analyze payroll, tax, and accounting records to determine accurate premium bases.
- Collect clear, detailed descriptions of business operations and employee duties via phone and email.
- Clarify and document client data to support accurate audit conclusions.
- Complete audit worksheets using established Excel templates.
- Use existing pivot tables and VLOOKUPs to reconcile and validate data.
- Reconcile payroll, tax, and accounting records to find discrepancies and ensure consistency.
- Process audit findings in the company database following documented procedures.
- Apply auditing principles to evaluate records and support premium determinations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve questions and finalize audit results.
- Maintain organized, auditable documentation for each file.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a closely related field.
- Experience with auditing or reviewing financial records and preparing audit conclusions.
- Experience reconciling payroll, tax, or accounting data.
- Comfortable working with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for phone- and email-based client interactions.
- Familiarity with payroll, tax, and accounting concepts relevant to audit work.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
- GPA above 3.0 for degree-holders.
- Associate’s degree plus 2+ years of experience in auditing, A/P, A/R, payroll, or GL accounting.
- Experience with insurance-related audits (Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Professional Liability).
- Ability to manage multiple audits and deadlines while maintaining quality documentation.
- Motivation for career growth; interest in continuing education (tuition reimbursement available after qualifying period).
Work Environment
- Based in a modern office in Jenkins Township / West Pittston area with a hybrid schedule.
- Initial 1–2 weeks remote onboarding/training; thereafter onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays, remote three days per week.
- Primarily computer-based work (Excel, internal database systems).

Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $42,682.00 - $42,682.00 per year. Actual offer will depend on qualifications, experience, and relevant factors.
