About the Role
This entry-level Audit Associate role with our Confidential Client in Accounting & Finance offers hands-on experience performing financial statement audits, applying auditing methodologies, and contributing to high-quality client engagements. You will work within an assurance team, support senior staff, learn technical accounting, and help improve audit processes while building client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial statement audits in compliance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Apply auditing methodologies to evaluate financial documents and internal controls
- Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations
- Use data analysis to identify financial trends and provide actionable insights
- Monitor and analyze financial trends to support decision-making
- Apply accounting and financial reporting standards consistently across engagements
- Collaborate with team members to address audit findings and recommend solutions
- Document processes to improve audit efficiency and quality
- Support client management through clear, professional communication
- Participate in project management tasks to meet audit timelines and deliverables
- Use technical accounting skills to resolve complex reporting issues
- Validate data quality and maintain information security for sensitive financial data
Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full-time
- Entry-level applicants who have completed or are completing their final academic year are encouraged to apply
Preferred / What Sets You Apart
- Overall GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Familiarity with GAAP and Accounting & Financial Reporting standards
- Experience or interest in using data analytics and emerging tools (including AI) to improve audit efficiency
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and eagerness to learn on client engagements
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 (actual compensation dependent on skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and subject to applicable employment laws)
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
