What You’ll Do

This entry-level Audit Associate role (Summer/Fall 2027 intake) with a Confidential Client on the Assurance team offers hands-on audit experience and strong learning opportunities. You will contribute to financial statement audits, support senior staff, and help clients maintain transparent and compliant financial reporting.

  • Conduct financial statement audits in compliance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
  • Apply auditing methodologies to evaluate financial records and internal controls
  • Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and regulatory adherence
  • Use data analysis to identify trends and support audit findings
  • Implement accounting and financial reporting standards to ensure consistent statements
  • Collaborate with teammates to address audit findings and recommend solutions
  • Participate in process documentation to improve audit efficiency
  • Support client communication and engagement management
  • Contribute to project management tasks to meet timelines and deliverables
  • Leverage technical accounting skills to resolve complex reporting issues
  • Validate data quality and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
  • Meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment before starting full-time
  • Entry-level candidates completing final academic year requirements are encouraged to apply

Preferred / Differentiators

  • Preference for candidates with a 3.5+ overall GPA
  • Familiarity with GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Experience or interest in applying GAAS auditing methodologies
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Comfortable leveraging AI and modern tools to improve efficiency and outcomes
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 (actual compensation dependent on skills, experience, qualifications, and location; subject to applicable employment laws)
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus
  • Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave (details provided by the Confidential Client)
  • The Confidential Client provides policies on sponsorship and fair-chance hiring consistent with applicable laws
