What You’ll Do
This Audit Associate role (Reedsburg, WI) is an entry-level public accounting position focused on supporting audit and assurance engagements. You will learn core audit methodology while assisting the audit team to deliver high-quality work for clients.
- Assist with audit engagements: testing, documentation, and preparation of workpapers
- Analyze client financial records to identify accounting issues and escalate findings to senior staff
- Learn and apply audit methodologies, GAAP, and firm procedures
- Work closely with Audit Seniors and Managers to complete engagements efficiently and accurately
- Communicate with clients professionally as directed by the engagement team
- Build foundational knowledge of clients’ businesses and industries
Qualifications
- 0–2 years of audit or public accounting experience (internships welcomed)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA-eligible or intent to pursue CPA preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently and in a team environment
- Candidates willing to work onsite preferred; hybrid work may be considered based on experience and location
