What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an Audit Associate to join an Accounting & Finance team focused on delivering high-quality assurance services. You will participate in financial statement audits, support client engagements, and help ensure the integrity of financial reporting while developing technical and professional skills.

  • Conduct financial statement audits in compliance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
  • Apply auditing methodologies to evaluate financial records and internal controls
  • Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Use data analysis to identify trends and support audit conclusions
  • Document processes and audit findings to improve audit efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members to address audit issues and propose solutions
  • Support project management tasks to meet audit timelines and deliverables
  • Leverage technical accounting knowledge to resolve complex reporting questions
  • Maintain data quality and protect sensitive financial information

Qualifications (What You Must Have)

  • Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 3.0 overall GPA
  • Meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full-time
  • Entry-level candidates who have completed or are completing their final academic year are encouraged to apply

Preferred Qualifications (What Sets You Apart)

  • 3.5+ overall GPA preferred
  • Familiarity with GAAP and Accounting & Financial Reporting Standards
  • Experience or interest in using data analysis to inform recommendations
  • Comfort using auditing methodologies to enhance financial statement accuracy
  • Demonstrated curiosity, ability to ask good questions, and adapt to ambiguity
  • Interest in leveraging AI tools to increase efficiency and improve outcomes

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000. Actual compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
  • All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus where applicable.
  • Benefits typically include medical, dental, vision, retirement (401k), paid holidays, vacation, and personal/family sick leave. Specific benefits will be provided by the Confidential Client.

  • This is an entry-level, client-service associate role; candidates should expect exposure to client work and team-based engagement.
