What You’ll Do

The Audit Associate will perform data-driven audits to determine appropriate premium bases for multiple insurance lines (Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Professional Liability). This is an entry-level, Excel-focused role supporting a Confidential Client in the Accounting & Finance industry.

  • Review and analyze payroll, tax, and accounting records to determine accurate premium bases.
  • Gather clear descriptions of business operations and employee job duties via phone and email.
  • Clarify, document, and reconcile discrepancies across payroll, tax, and accounting records.
  • Complete audit worksheets using established Excel templates and existing pivot tables/VLOOKUPs.
  • Enter and process audit findings in the company database following internal procedures.
  • Apply basic auditing principles to evaluate records, identify issues, and support premium determinations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve questions and finalize audit results.
  • Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation in accordance with internal guidelines.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience reviewing financial records and performing reconciliations of payroll, tax, or accounting data.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills: ability to work with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and audit worksheets.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data review and entry.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for client outreach via phone and email.
  • Ability to manage multiple audits and deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.

Preferred / Additional Qualifications

  • GPA above 3.0 for degree-holders in relevant majors.
  • Associate’s degree plus 2+ years of experience in auditing, A/P, A/R, payroll, or GL accounting.
  • Prior experience with insurance-related audits (Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Professional Liability) is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and motivation for career development; tuition reimbursement available after a qualifying period.

Work Environment & Schedule

This position is based in Parsons, PA and follows a hybrid schedule. Initial onboarding/training is remote for approximately 1–2 weeks. After onboarding, the typical schedule is onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays and remote the other three weekdays. Day-to-day work is computer-based and Excel-intensive.


Pay & Benefits

  • Salary: $42,682.00 per year (range provided by the client).
  • Benefits include comprehensive healthcare, 401(k) with company match, generous paid time off, subsidized downtown parking, closure on major holidays, and tuition reimbursement after six months.
  • Individual compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, location, and other job-related factors.
