What You’ll Do

This entry-level Audit Associate role (Summer/Fall 2027) supports financial statement audits and related assurance engagements for our confidential client. You will work on client teams to apply audit methodologies, validate financial information, and help produce high-quality, compliant financial reporting.

  • Conduct financial statement audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
  • Perform testing of controls, substantive procedures, and documentation to support audit conclusions
  • Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and adherence to accounting standards
  • Use data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that inform recommendations
  • Collaborate with team members to address findings and develop practical remediation steps
  • Support project management tasks to meet timelines and deliverables
  • Maintain data quality and confidentiality while upholding professional independence and ethics

Responsibilities

  • Apply auditing methodologies to evaluate financial documents and internal controls
  • Execute audit fieldwork and document findings clearly and professionally
  • Interpret accounting standards and assist with technical accounting research
  • Assist senior staff with client communications and status reporting
  • Contribute to process documentation, efficiency improvements, and use of technology (including AI tools) to enhance outcomes

What You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Accounting (or equivalent)
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
  • By start of full-time employment, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment
  • Entry-level candidates: final academic year completed or in progress

What Sets You Apart

  • GPA of 3.5 or higher (preferred)
  • Familiarity with GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting standards
  • Experience or comfort using data analysis tools and techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, ask good questions, and work effectively in teams
  • Interest in leveraging AI and automation to create efficiencies and improve audit quality

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 (actual compensation dependent on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable laws)
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus where applicable
  • Benefits typically include medical, dental, vision, retirement savings (401k), paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave — specifics provided by the confidential client
