Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Audit Associate in Las Vegas, NV. This role supports financial statement audits within an Assurance practice, helps evaluate internal controls, and contributes to high-quality client deliverables. This position is ideal for recent accounting graduates or final-year students who meet CPA exam eligibility requirements for Nevada and who want a growth-oriented audit career.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial statement audits in accordance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
• Apply auditing methodologies to evaluate financial records and internal controls
• Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Use data analysis to identify financial trends and support audit conclusions
• Assist with accounting and financial reporting standards implementation
• Collaborate with engagement teams to address audit findings and recommend solutions
• Prepare and maintain audit documentation and workpapers
• Support client communication and timely project deliverables
• Participate in project management tasks to meet timelines
• Maintain data quality and confidentiality of sensitive financial information

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (completed or in final academic year)
• Minimum overall GPA: 3.0
• Meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in Nevada before starting full-time
• Able and willing to work in Las Vegas, NV; local or willing to relocate

• Strong preference for candidates with a 3.5+ overall GPA
• Familiarity with GAAP, GAAS, and accounting/financial reporting standards
• Comfortable using data-analysis techniques to draw insights

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 per year (actual pay depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws)
• Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
