What You’ll Do
As an Audit Associate with our confidential client you will support financial statement audits and related assurance work. This is an entry-level, client-facing role where you'll learn auditing standards, apply auditing methodology, and develop technical accounting skills while contributing to quality client deliverables.
- Conduct financial statement audits in compliance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Apply auditing methodologies to evaluate financial documents and internal controls
- Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Use data analysis to identify trends and inform audit findings
- Assist with accounting and financial reporting standard implementation
- Collaborate with engagement teams to address audit findings and recommend solutions
- Document processes and maintain audit workpapers to support conclusions
- Support client communication and timely delivery of audit milestones
- Participate in research and learning to deepen technical accounting knowledge
- Maintain data quality and protect sensitive financial information
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or closely related)
- Minimum overall GPA: 3.0
- Meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment before starting full-time
- Entry-level role — candidates will have completed or be in the final academic year of educational requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer overall GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Familiarity with GAAP and Accounting & Financial Reporting Standards
- Experience or coursework using auditing methodology and data analysis tools
- Comfortable leveraging AI or automation to increase audit efficiency
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated attention to detail and professional ethics
Logistics & Compensation
- Employment type: Full time
- Location: Jacksonville, FL (onsite/client engagements as required)
- Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 per year (actual pay dependent on experience, qualifications, and applicable laws)
- Additional compensation: eligible for annual discretionary bonus (per client policy)
- Travel: Up to 20%
