What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level Audit Associate role on an Assurance team. You will assist on financial statement audits and client engagements while you learn technical and professional skills.
- Conduct financial statement audits in compliance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Apply auditing methodologies to evaluate financial documents and internal controls
- Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and policy compliance
- Use data analysis to identify financial trends and provide actionable insights
- Implement accounting and financial reporting standards (GAAP) to maintain consistency
- Collaborate with team members to address audit findings and recommend solutions
- Document processes to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness
- Support client communication and respond to inquiries professionally
- Participate in project management tasks to meet timelines and deliverables
- Assist with validating data quality and protecting sensitive financial information
Qualifications
Minimum requirements — candidates who meet these will be considered:
- Currently pursuing, or have completed, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum 3.0 overall GPA
- Meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment before starting full-time
- Entry-level candidates should be in or completing their final academic year
Preferred Qualifications (What Sets You Apart)
- Preferred overall GPA of 3.5+
- Experience or coursework in financial reporting and accounting standards
- Familiarity with GAAS and GAAP
- Comfort using data analysis to inform recommendations
- Interest in leveraging AI or workflow tools to create efficiencies
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Travel
- Up to 20% travel may be required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $53,500 - $104,000 per year (actual compensation dependent on skills, experience, qualifications, and location)
- Eligible for annual discretionary bonus where applicable
